Since 1996, my company has performed the majority of the Special Event road closures within the City of Boulder including the Kinetics Parade, Boulder Boulder, Art Fair, Downtown Race Series, Fall Festival, Homecoming Parade, and Lights of December Parade. On many occasions, I have had the privilege of working with Marv s Towing for relocating vehicles that have been left on the closed streets. As a service to the community, at most of these Events, your trucks are provided at or below cost.

In every instance, your crews have shown up on schedule, driven safely and courteously, and have handled the relocated vehicles with the highest standards of professionalism. On a personal note, having raised two teenage drivers of my own, I have used Marv's Towing on more than one occasion myself. I never doubted that the damaged vehicles would be treated carefully, that they would be removed promptly to a secure location, and that your services would be provided at a fair price.

Thank you for being such an important part of the Boulder community, and congratulations for maintaining your well-known reputation for quality, honesty and value throughout this period.

On behalf of the Boulder Valley School District, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Marv's Quality Towing for helping one of our homeless families. Towing, free of charge, a homeless single mother's car to a garage for repair is generous and kind. Your company's action is a great example of the BVSD community's willingness to help a less fortunate member.

My wife was blindsided by some woman trying to make a left turn in front of her at Lookout and Idylwyld on Wednesday.

As a long-time AAA member, you were called for help and your man Clay responded. I was trapped in the front passenger seat, but my wife could get out.

I want you to know what a superb job Clay did. He was so helpful and polite. He even called later in the evening from Sil Ter Har to say that the car was safe and secure. His performance was certainly well above and beyond the call of duty.

As the Training Division Chief for the Boulder Fire Department, I wanted to thank you for the assistance you and your crew provided us in our recent extrication training. In all, you provided over 20 vehicles for us to bend, fold, break, and otherwise destroy, here on your lot and also at our training center. Without exception, your drivers and staff were courteous and helpful. No matter what we needed, your answer was always, "Sure, we can do that."

As emergency service providers, we need to be able to train in realistic conditions. Merely talking about how to cut cars apart to rescue trapped occupants does not come close to providing us the experience we need. Having the number and variety of vehicles you provided has helped us to provide better service to our customers. Once again, thank you for your contribution to making our city a safer place.
